The following information is being provided in response to the questions that were submitted for CSAT RFI.
Question 1:
Is NPPD looking to replace/modernize the CSAT suite of tools or simply contract a vendor to maintain the existing tools, as is?
Answer:
NPPD is looking for someone that can maintain the existing tools which would include building and hosting the classified and unclassified systems and being able to provide population density mapping.
Question 2:
What technology is used for the current CSAT suite of tools?
Answer:
The CSAT suite of tools consists of classified and unclassified systems utilizing custom developed applications in combination with commercial- off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware/software products to accomplish the requisite tasking.
Question 3:
In the CSAT suite, there is mention of case management applications. Is there new functionality needed in this specific area?
Answer:
There is no new functionality.
