4. Description: The Awarding Authority are seeking to procure a GDPR compliant Data Protection Officer service.
As a minimum the service should include:
The provision of an appropriately qualified professional to fulfil the role of Data Protection Officer for WHMAT;
Provision of advice to the organisation regarding compliance with GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other data protection laws;
Assist with Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information requests, requests to be forgotten and the other rights of the data subject;
Attendance at board and Senior Leadership Team meetings as required;
Advice and support with the production of a risk register;
Production of Information Governance Development/Improvement Plan;
Provide advice and guidance on issues/breach management;
Reporting of issues to and liaison with the ICO.
WHMAT consists of seven academy schools, 4 Primary phase, 2 secondary phase and one all through school.
