In this position, he supports the Chief Executive in managing the complex portfolio of defense and security work. He coordinates work across Dstl’s Science & Technology (S&T) delivery units, while also overseeing the development and sustainability of S&T capabilities.
His responsibilities include implementing a streamlined process for stakeholders to engage with Dstl, prioritizing demands, and ensuring the highest-impact outcomes. Dr. Sheldon’s career began after completing a Chemistry degree at Edinburgh University and a PhD in Organic Chemistry at Oxford.
