MASS has supported the RAF-led Exercise Eagle Warrior at the RAF College, Cranwell, which saw over 200 personnel participate in the event, including several senior members of the RAF leadership team.
The event formed part of an annual series of horizon-scanning events run by Air Command to shape, test and review RAF capability development.
Eagle Warrior tested a variety of concepts and platforms in a wargame-based environment and drew on expertise from across the RAF and wider defence, including international partners, academia and industry.
MASS, a Cohort plc company, has recently extended its existing Joint Warfare Support contract which provides training and exercise support to the MOD‘s Joint Forces Command (JFC). Through this contract, MASS facilitated Exercise Eagle Warrior, in conjunction with Joint Warfare Support team partner DXC, by providing a classified LAN capability as part of the underpinning Exercise Information Management structure. The LAN was deployed, installed and operated at the exercise location at Cranwell and worked faultlessly throughout both the main wargame and also during a wargame planning event earlier in the year.
MASS Managing Director, Chris Stanley, commented: “Our pedigree in training support continues to be recognised throughout the military sector and Exercise Eagle Warrior has drawn very positive feedback from Air Command staff. Our role was also acknowledged by HQ AIR Strategic Force Development as making an important contribution to facilitating this key event for the RAF.”
